Unclog your shower head

Lime and mineral build up over time can clog your shower head and decrease your water flow.  Here’s a quick and easy way to unclog your shower head using common household items.

What you’ll need:

Plastic baggie (one big enough to fit around your shower head)

  • Rubber band
  • White vinegar

How to:

  1. Pour some white vinegar in the plastic baggie.
  2. Secure the baggie around your shower head using the rubber band, making sure the entire shower head is immersed in the vinegar.
  3. Leave the baggie on for at least 12 hours.
  4. Remove the baggie.
  5. Turn your shower on hot and allow the hot water to flow through your shower head for a minute.

Voila!  Your shower head is clean and clear of mineral deposits.  Enjoy your shower
