Our legendary culture
The Waterworks is known for performance excellence at all employment levels.
We have proven that there is a demand for a service company whose internal philosophy and external actions demonstrate a commitment to honesty, integrity and the highest standard of ethical behavior. We thrive on performance excellence.
Every employee — from the customer service representative who takes the call to the service technician who performs the work — is fully invested in this philosophy. We don’t ask them to be salespeople. Rather we give them the freedom to perform their work at the best of their ability. That is how The Waterworks has formed long-lasting, caring relationships with loyal customers.
David Specht, President
Having grown up in a family plumbing business himself, Mr. Specht is a Master Plumber with a State of Ohio Contractor Certificate. He received his BA from Miami University.
He joined The Waterworks in 1998 as Vice-President of Operations and was then promoted to President in November, 2001. Mr. Specht currently oversees The Waterworks’ Columbus market while building new markets in Dayton and Cleveland.
